Job Overview:
As an AVP, Quality Engineering Manager you’ll serve as a strong and versatile hands on technical leader. Successful leaders at LPL communicate well with teams and leaders of the organization, have active listening skills, ask great questions and provide good development feedback.
Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate is a servant leader who can lead multiple parallel initiatives – big and small - with attention to detail, manage outcomes and is passionate about CI/CD/DevOps/Software Quality Engineering.
Lead a team of Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET’s) working in Agile model supporting delivery teams to achieve consistent, predictable, high quality releases by implementing common practices, tools, metrics, automation frameworks and oversight and delivering high quality solutions that meet business objectives in a flexible, collaborative and rapidly changing environment.
Manage resources across different geographical locations and offshore vendors
Work as a leader/trainer in a large, complex QA organization, with a demonstrated ability to implement scalable automation solutions•
Drive innovative testing solutions within a complex, Enterprise Platform
Educate team with Security, Accessibility scans / testing, PLSQL
Attract, hire, empower and develop the best engineers
Driving quality metrics to improve customer quality
Drive release efficiency, reduce regression cycle time, and time to market
What are we looking for?

Requirements:
Candidate must possess a combination of one of the following:
Bachelor’s Degree, Computer Science or similar, plus 8+ years of experience
OR Master’s Degree, Computer Science or similar, plus 7+ years of experience
OR no degree, plus 12+ years of experience working in Quality Engineering and management roles
8+ years of hands-on experience in development (Java, JavaScript, C#, or any other object-oriented programming language), execution, and maintenance of automated test scripts
8+ years of experience in web, mobile, API and data testing techniques
8+ years of experience with Jenkins, Bamboo, GIT, SVN, Bit bucket, TFS, Code Linters, Code Scanners, Code Coverage tools, Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber, NUNIT/JUNIT/TESTNG, etc.
5+ years of experience in Agile practice

Highly organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results
Ability to effectively inspire and influence teams and partners in delivering technology enabled business solutions that exceed business expectations
Demonstrated ability to define drive and communicate strategy and vision and influence across the organization is essential
Solid experience with Defect Management Process.
Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills & strong verbal and written communications skills.
Understanding and implementation of CI/CD/Dev Ops practices, lean methodologies
Preferences:
Experience with driving transformation at scale
Experience with CI/CD/Dev Ops practices, lean methodologies
Hands on Experience with one of the programming languages – Java, C#, JavaScript or any other Object Oriented programming language.
Good understanding on Enterprise Architecture/ Software design, Implementation & testing
Experience in Banking or Financial services domain.
Pay Range:
