Job Overview:
The Regional Wealth Consultant (RWC) operates within a consultative, team-based environment that is focused on adding value to financial advisors and their clients. As part of LPL Financial, the largest independent broker dealer in the USA, you will make significant contributions to the firm and its clients. You will help advisors serve their clients by better leveraging the wealth management solutions and advisory platforms available at LPL Financial. You will serve as a critical partner for advisors, helping them grow their business while effectively and efficiently meeting the needs of their clients.

What will you do?

  • Increase advisory platform sales from LPL independent advisors in a defined territory

  • Drive awareness and utilization of the LPL suite of Wealth Management Solutions

  • Travel within assigned territory 3-4 days per week; attend regional and national conferences

  • Partner with other LPL business units and sponsor firms to bring value-added education resources to advisors.

What does your success look like in the first 90 days?

You will spend the first 90 days familiarizing yourself with the LPL culture, LPL systems, the advisory and wealth management platforms, and the various business units across the firm. You will join several tenured RWCs in the field for 3-4 weeks to become acquainted with the role. Travel permitting, you will visit the LPL Home Office in Fort Mill, SC to meet members of the organization including your internal partner.

What are we looking for?

What skills, experiences, and education are required? 

  • Exceptional communication skills including virtual and live presentation skills

  • 7-10 years of experience in the Financial Services industry preferably as a wholesaler, advisor, or recruiter

  • Demonstrated sales success

  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or both 63 and 65)

  • CFP, CFA, CIMA, or CWS preferred
