Job Overview:

The Enterprise Data & Analytics organization is a team of highly motivated and skilled professionals who are driving business value through data to create a sustainable competitive advantage for our company. The Data Governance Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining data governance practices acro0ss the enterprise. This position will partner with key Business and Technology stakeholders to enable and support the firm’s data governance strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with the business, technology, and other relevant stakeholders to catalog and manage business terms while establishing and maintaining a stewardship network for business terms

  • Collaborate with resources from the Business and Technology on various projects and initiatives to achieve governance objectives

  • Assist Data Governance leadership in the delivery of all data governance projects and initiatives

  • Participate in the creation of key data governance artifacts (documentation, definitions, processes, templates, etc.)

  • Support the intake, prioritization and remediation of data quality issues

  • Evaluate adherence to data governance policies and standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 0 to 2+ years of experience in data governance or data management

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and determine, manage priorities

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with business and technical teams

  • Capable of strong critical thinking skills and the ability to ask relevant questions to improve processes, identify issues/gaps, and build efficiencies

Preferences:

  • Experience with data governance and quality tools (e.g. Collibra, IDQ, ASG, data.world, Manta, etc.) is preferred
