Assistant Vice President, Integration Office - Analytics and Execution

We are currently looking to hire an AVP, Analytics and Execution. This team member will be a part of the Finance department’s Integration Office and will be responsible for centralized data management, analytics, and establishing corresponding best practices related to large, complex and multifaceted M&A and large deal integration activities in support of the firm’s growth strategy.

Job Overview:

This role will leverage analytical and execution capabilities to support M&A diligence and planning operations, as well as help to shape and strengthen related data depository management best practices and drive related continuous improvement activities. 

This qualified professional will have a strong analytics background and a working knowledge of financial services and the customer experience space.  Strong collaboration and presentation skills are required as you’ll work closely with other functions in the company to drive positive change. Exceptional organization, working as part of a larger management team, and the ability to independently drive work and continuous improvement is vital. 

Responsibilities:

  • Performing data analysis in support of M&A diligence and planning activities

  • Managing the Integration Office’s data repository, diligence taxonomy and related control processes

  • Identifying areas for improvement, developing and implementing continuous improvement solutions

  • Managing, monitoring, and ensuring implementation of an effective lessons learned process

  • Supporting Integration Office governance reporting, issue and risk management activities

  • Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems

  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings

  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.

  • Drive firm-wide collaboration and alignment to improve M&A execution

  • Deliver high quality, high impact communications and analysis to LPL executives to inform decision making, strategy and execution across the firm.

  • Managing team related projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance

What are we looking for?

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA or other equivalent work experience

  • 3-5 years of data analysis or equivalent experience supporting firm level business units, initiatives and programs

  • Comfortable with application of modern methods (Agile, SAFe, Lean Six Sigma) capabilities, and reporting

Core Competencies:

  • Data management and visualization experience
  • Exceptional skills in fact base development and ability to synthesize and translate data into strategic story-telling

  • Demonstrate creativity, leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and contribute to team deliverables

  • Good collaboration and interpersonal skills, self-motivated, willingness to take on challenges and adaptability to change

  • Passion for driving action and improvement resulting in exceptional experiences and outcomes for Advisors, end-investors and employees

  • Strong executive communication skills and ability to synthesize complex data and information into compelling cases for change

  • Strong mathematical/statistics/applied analytics background

Preferences:

  • Data analytics certifications (CAP, Certification of Professional Achievement in Data Sciences, etc.)
