Associate Service Professional - Retirement Services

Our Associate Service Professional role in Retirement Services will provide superior customer service to financial advisors as the first point of contact for various retirement-related questions on IRAs and employer-sponsored plans.  Joining our team as an Associate Service Professional will allow you the opportunity to explore and learn each function within the Service organization at LPL Financial.  The back-office exposure to the financial services industry will allow you to gain an understanding of the impact the Service organization has on the overall success of the firm.

Essential Functions:
1. Provide superior customer service to financial advisors by handling inquiries via phone and email.
2. Understand LPL policies and procedures which apply to retirement accounts and convey them to advisors.

3. Educate advisors on Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor rules which impact their retirement account clients.

4. Assume ownership of complex situations, set proper expectations with our advisors, and see them through to a timely resolution.
5. Answer 40 - 60 incoming calls per day from advisors, office support staff, end clients, and other members of LPL.

6. Provide feedback and ideas to your leadership team which will help improve processes that benefit our advisors and end clients.

•Bachelor's degree in a related field
•1-2 years of previous customer service experience
•1-2 years of financial services experience preferred
•Strong MS Office skills, Beta experience is a plus
•Looking for individuals who have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong problem solving ability, extremely organized and able to multi-task efficiently.
