AVP - AEM Development Lead

As AVP Development for Digital Content Experience Technology, responsible for the planning, analysis, design, development and implementation of digital experiences. The person will work independently and lead a team of onshore and offshore developer’s responsible digital products and projects development. This role will assist in executing Digital Content Experience Technology roadmap with a focus to refine and build digital experience capabilities, repeatable templates and integrations across digital channels (Web, Voice and Video) that help achieve DCXT platform speed and scale.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with a demonstrated ability to meet schedules and multi-task. This role requires a successful and experienced Adobe Experience Cloud practitioner, able to lead discussions with business and technology partners that identify and define breakthrough client experiences.  You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make a vision a reality.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and own technical aspects of Adobe Experience Cloud implementations and / or custom solutions including Content-As-A-Service, UI Framework and system integrations development.

Manage development teams implementing Adobe Experience Manager, Java Script solutions, REST Services and drive key technical decisions.

Work with technology, product and business partners to build and deliver hands-on prototype workshops to enhance current digital platforms, or create a new digital offering

Implements Java Script Frameworks, Rest Services and Integrations across digital content management portfolio.
Collaborate with UX, product leads, EA and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic and tactical goals of project efforts are met

Implement integrations across digital technology platform (eg: AEM, SharePoint, Analytics, Target, Hub spot, Campaigns)

Work collaboratively with QA, DevOPS teams to adopt CI/CD tool chain and develop automation

Contribute to, and participate in, projects to ensure successful implementation of defined digital experience solutions
Work with technical teams to ensure overall support and stability of platforms and assist with troubleshooting when production incidents arise

Basic Qualifications

Overall 10+ years of experience, with 8+ years of development experience in implementing Digital Experiences– leading problem definition, opportunity identification, or design thinking workshops
Ability to work with business and technology partners to define innovative digital offerings using leading experience design tools and techniques (empathy maps, customer journeys and prototypes)

Solid working experience of Adobe Experience Cloud and knowledge of multiple leading ECM platforms (e.g. SharePoint, LifeRay)
Solid working experience of implementing Content-As-A-Service (CAAS) and Experience-AS-A-Service (EAAS) solutions

Experience with integrating multimedia (e.g. video, chat, social) and Call Center Technology (CTI ) into digital platforms

Experience in SOA architecture implementing SOAP/Rest content services

Solid understanding of Enterprise Content Management Governance principles and practices
Operational excellence mind-set and experience
Ability to simplify complexity and develop scalable propositions
Good understanding of software development life cycle and Agile or Iterative methodologies (especially Waterfall/Agile hybrid)
Prior experience with offshore-onshore development teams
Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills.

Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams and business units
Education – Bachelor’s or above
