Job Overview:
The AVP Data Architect will be responsible for the Data Infrastructure of the Reporting, Analytics and Insights group within LPLs Customer Care organization. This role will be part of a team of data professionals who both deploy internal ETLs and Data infrastructure in general, as well as define requirements and specifications for enterprise data warehouse solutions focused on the Customer Care organization.
Responsibilities:
- Gather data requirements and synthesize them into specifications for data warehouse solutions
- Analyze the design of technical systems and business models to ensure solution meets business needs and requirements
- Research and properly evaluate sources of information to determine possible limitations in reliability or usability
- Support initiatives for data quality, data integrity, and data standardization efforts
- Participate in building proof of concept activities by assembling large, complex data sets and creating and maintaining optimal data pipelines for those data sets
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing or enhancing existing ETL, data integration processes, and infrastructure to enable better performance and overall scalability
- Lead technical design and implementation of dashboards and reporting capabilities
- Interact closely with IT team on Customer Care projectss and monitor deliverables to ensure timely completion of those projects
- Perform user acceptance testing
- Evaluate and influence ETL and database tool selection and deployment
What are we looking for?

Requirements:
- 5+ years experience with and advanced knowledge working SQL and relational databases as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
- 5+ years experience with ETL/Visualization tools such as Informatica, Alteryx, and Tableau
- 5+ years experience with data warehouse architecture and design
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
Core Competencies:
- Extensive SQL experience
- Data Warehouse Architecture and Design
- ETL/Visualization tools - Informatica, Alteryx, and Tableau
- Proven ability to drive data warehouse projects from inception through post production support
- Excellent multitasking skills and task management strategies
- Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Analytical mindset
Preferences:
- MS SQL Server experience
- Snowflake experience
- Tableau and Alteryx experience
Pay Range:
$112,720-$169,080/yearThe salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.Why LPL?
