AVP, Efficiency Consultant

We are currently looking to hire a AVP, Program Efficiency Consultant within the Internal Growth & Program Efficiency Consultants department, which is a part of LPL’s National Sales organization. This position is responsible for partnering with institution management and Program Growth Consultants to drive efficiencies associated with financial institutions in a geographic territory.  ECs advocate for institutions with LPL Financial business partners to increase a program’s ability to conduct business and deliver a positive client experience.  Initiatives include, but aren’t limited to; Technology Adoption, Model Enhancements, and Efficiency Consulting.  As model enhancements occur and program efficiencies are uncovered, ECs will proactively consult with institutions on strategies for achieving operational efficiencies.  ECs work in partnership with their geographically aligned Program Growth Consultants to retain, grow and increase profitability of institution relationships. 

Essential Functions:

(35% of role) Work with Financial Institutions to drive large projects and initiatives on behalf of the institution and LPL Financial. This also includes building strong, proactive relationships with assigned clients/territories, promoting adoption of LPL Technology and helping institutions leverage the firm’s capabilities, services and support mechanisms.

(25% of role) Identification of trends impacting the client experience negatively and supporting EC leadership in the model enhancement process to close gaps in the institution (and LPL Financial) offering.  Furthermore, this role will be responsible for driving best practices around efficient management of an institutions investment program over time.

(20% of role) Management of internal LPL Financial relationships peers that are key stakeholders in driving LPL enhancements and ensuring the firm is aware of and considering institution nuances in support of this business.  This includes:  STO, GRC, BTS, Legal, and Project Management.

(10% of role) Improve the firm’s risk profile and reputation by identifying, assessing, managing and escalating risk within your area of responsibility to support your department’s business objectives.  Also, includes supporting institutions due diligence requests while enhancing LPL’s due diligence process.

Other Job Duties:

  • Manage client communications of key LPL updates from the appropriate internal functions (i.e. BTS, BDSS, GRC, Legal, FAIR)
  • Post-conversion support of new institutions – in partnership/coordination with transitions.
  • LPL Financial technology support and utilization (non-growth technology)
  • Identify in interactions with client’s opportunities for growth as well as reinforce key objectives/goals planned with growth consultants
  • Manage the overall NPS follow-up process for assigned territories
  • Regular engagement with program management through appropriate segmentation, as well as high responsiveness for non-proactive items.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related discipline or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum 9+ years of previous experience in financial services with both sales and service responsibilities
  • Project management experience highly desired
  • FINRA 6 or 7, or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • Experience with Contact Management Systems, specifically Salesforce.com and standard MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with LPL Financial proprietary systems and client facing technology highly desired
  • Experience and understanding of the LPL Financial organization highly desired
