Job Overview:
LPL Financial is seeking an Assistant Vice President of cash management, banking and lending within investor and investment solutions (IIS). As a trusted business partner, you will drive outcomes, lead cross-functional teams, and contribute to deep and thoughtful advisor led, end-investor product rollouts. The focus of this role will be executing on a variety of initiatives that support our strategic product roadmap. This is a fluid product management team focused on building efficiency, being accountable and executing outcomes.
For this role, experience and understanding of the complexities of cash management, banking and lending as it pertains to LPL's array of platform offerings and affiliation models is required, as well as having a consulting mindset. A strong understanding of the intricacies of financial services and the regulatory environment we operate in as well as Agile management is critical.
The incumbent needs to lead interactions with cross-functional business units, partner well across internal teams and external third party service providers to drive key outcomes in support of our strategy.
Responsibilities:
Execution of large cross-functional programs to support our strategic initiatives and product development efforts
Provide thought leadership and prepare presentations related to product development and growth initiatives that are ready for the executive-level
Work closely with internal and external business as well as technical teams to align goals and priorities, including providing vision for PI events, requirements gathering and backlog management
Assist in the driving of strategic initiatives through the establishment and ongoing leadership of a program governance structure that ensures stakeholder engagement and efficient product execution
Collaborate across the firm to maintain alignment on vision, strategy, and performance to goals to increase the value proposition and advisor-led, end-investor experience of assigned products
Engage and drive higher promotion and usage of cash, banking and lending
Establish fact-bases that help drive decision-making for the business and demonstrate persistence in raising issues to the proper levels for attention and driving transparency at all levels surrounding product execution
Develop roadmaps, plans and metrics that communicate progress, risks, issues and approach to execution that support continuous learning and improve outcomes. Sets a high bar for results through repeatable, scalable processes.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA or other advanced degree a plus
Regulatory licenses (e.g. s99, s7, s66) or designations a plus (e.g. ACAM, CFP, PMP)
7+ years related experience in the Banking/Brokerage industry; with a strong understanding of cash, banking and lending
Preferably 3-5+ years of experience in product management, operational management, program & project management preferably within a financial services or related FinTech firm
Preferably 1-2 years in leading or operating on high-performing teams in an SaFe/SCRUM/Agile environment managing an end to end product lifecycle
Preferably previous experience with vendor relationship management, evaluation and RFPs
