Job Overview:
LPL Comprehensive Advice is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Vice President to accelerate subscriber utilization of LPL planning subscription services through proactive, consultative engagements with with LPL Advisors and Enterprises. This role will entail identifying and executing on opportunities to assist subscribers with scaling the reach of their financial planning offering as well as refining their planning approach.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with LPL Advisors and Enterprises (planning services subscribers) to provide actionable guidance to refine their financial planning process, reach, as well as planning services engagement
- Partner with head of Client Success to develop and operationalize segmented consultative approach based on subscriber type
- Conduct proactive outreach to subscribers to establish planning goals, structure a complementary planning process, and track progress toward those goals
- Engage with subscribers to identify untapped planning opportunities within their current book of business
- Identify, and develop solutions to address hurdles for low utilization subscribers
- Approach each subscriber interaction with a goal of increasing planning services subscription utilization and satisfaction
- Maintain regular contact with designated relationships, promoting progress and tracking outcomes on suggested actions
- Identify cross-selling/up-selling opportunities within planning services product suite based on subscriber’s business needs
- Be an ambassador for the comprehensive advice organization internally and externally while clearly and accurately articulating the value proposition of planning services
- Collaborate regularly with comprehensive advice leadership in client success, delivery, and product to maintain alignment on consultative approach and outcomes
- Occasional travel may be required for onsite visits and LPL conferences (role will primarily be conducted via virtual engagements)

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in personal financial counseling within a professional services and/or a financial planning environment
- 5+ years in a related sales or consulting function
- Licenses/Certifications Required/Preferred: CFP required. Securities licenses 7, 63, 65, 66 are strongly preferred
- Software/Systems Skills Preferred: Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Salesforce, Smartsheet
- Strong knowledge of financial planning software to include eMoney
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Broad exposure to financial planning

Pay Range:
$88,920-$133,380/year
The salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.
