Job Overview:

As AVP, Product Manager, you will be responsible for furthering the evolution of our Unified Managed Account (UMA) programs in innovative and unique ways, specifically by focusing on the execution of bringing previous non-existent features and capabilities to life. This will require familiarity with various advisory platform capabilities ranging from householding, margin, cash & unmanaged sleeves, and fixed income sleeves, and tax management and various downstream dependencies such as key portfolio accounting workflows, vendor integrations, client facing reporting, billing systems, and supervision considerations.

Responsibilities:

  • Uncover system and/or operational issues that are or could become barriers to continued investment program evolution, in particular with respect to fixed income investment strategies within UMAs.

  • Analyze complex operational procedures and system integrations in order to clearly define problem statements and identify feature gaps.

  • Coordinate and prioritize business and operations objectives and transform into actionable backlog of enhancements.

  • Manage backlog, provide clear requirements, and establish effective testing plans with internal technology resources and external vendors

  • Track and Communicate project status and timelines to relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experience with Centralized Overlay Trading workflows and externally traded sleeve portfolios.

  • Relevant trading system subject matter includes, but is not limited to expertise with rebalance logic, sleeve journaling logic, heuristic trade engines, risk-based optimization, trade execution integration, and order allocation post-trade processing.

  • Relevant portfolio accounting subject matter includes, but is not limited to expertise with transaction reconciliation with custodians, corporate action processing, sleeve tagging or sub accounting, trade corrections, performance reporting computation, and billing value methods

  • Focus on a specialized functional and operational areas of advisory and managed account infrastructure

Core Competencies:

  • Expectations for this role will be to pro-actively lead the system and operational maturity needed to deliver UMA Externally Traded Fixed Income offerings.

Previous Experience:

  • Portfolio Management trading systems for multi-sleeve accounts and/or households is required.

  • IBOR/Portfolio Accounting system for Unified Managed Accounts experience is preferred
