Job Overview:

The Assistant Vice President, Sales Enablement will be responsible for the planning, development, and execution of programmatic initiatives aimed at helping advisors acquire new clients, increase client wallet-share, and minimize client attrition. The AVP will be responsible for providing support to the sales team by delivering end-to-end programs that include live and virtual sales events, campaigns, and coaching designed to enhance advisor engagement and success at LPL Financial. The Sales Enablement team collaborates with our sales leadership and preferred sponsors to transform business strategies into actionable activities promoting advisor growth and retention.

We are seeking a high energy, thought leader/doer that will embrace the LPL culture and be able to create/deliver innovative client experiences helping our advisors engage and grow. Ideal candidates for this role are ones who thrive in a fast-paced environment, team/goal oriented, client focused, experienced with data driven results/lead scoring and are able to execute in a way that encourages creativity, continuous improvement and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, develop and manage various sales programs and timely initiatives that are aligned with the sales teams’ goals and priorities
  • Enhance current sponsor relationships and value through a series of coordinated activities creating access to our advisors and sales team showcasing the resources, tools, and expertise available to help advisors grow
  • Initiate and manage cross-departmental promotions through the development of integrated campaigns that may include the promotion of other products or technologies at the firm
  • Extract important metrics from comprehensive industry and market reports for the design and innovation of new programs
  • Partner with our Analytics team supporting our data-driven approach to update our advisor segmentation and target the most effective audience
  • Manage-up, ability to organize and present ideas to senior leadership and manage expectations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (prefer Business, Marketing, or similar)
  • 5+ years of Sales/Marketing experience in financial services
  • Track record of success in project management and collaboration with teams
  • Ability to seamlessly pivot when change occurs – Solution based mentality under the circumstances
  • Must be a curious thought-leader with a reputation of driving success
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Event planning experience is a plus
