Job Overview:

We are looking for an inspired Technical Lead with a background of developing cloud-native web applications leveraging the following technologies: .Net Core (C#), Angular, Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS), and Document Store NoSQL. The candidate will guide a high velocity, product-focused development team.  This role requires keen attention to detail and software craftsmanship.  The ideal candidate will possess the required technical skill and also the ability to mentor the development team.


Responsibilities:

  • Design resilient, scalable software architecture

  • Collaborate with product stakeholders to translate business problem statements into technical solutions

  • Agile sprint planning

  • Perform technical assessment of risks/issues, and document recommendations

  • Coach development team in developing technical documentation as prescribed by SDLC guidelines

  • Coordinate with Enterprise Architecture, Data, Infrastructure, and Business team leaders to ensure that the solution design optimizes speed to market and aligns to prioritized business outcomes

  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical groups to support products

  • Oversee the software development activities

What are we looking for?

Requirements:

  • 1-3+ years of demonstrated leadership experience

  • 3+ years of AWS experience: AWS containers and server-less

  • 8+ years of experience with a combination of the following technologies: .Net/.core, Angular, RDMS, DocumentStore NoSQL

  • 3+ years CSS, Responsive Design

  • Experience with DevOps including TeamCity or similar, Octopus or similar, and Azure DevOps


Core Competencies:

  • Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills

  • Advanced knowledge of software architecture and development practices

  • Knowledge of code refactoring, unit testing

  • Excellent knowledge of OOP concepts, data modeling, design patterns

  • Experience with Agile development processes

  • Excellent communication skills


Preferences:

  • Tech leadership experience
