AVP, Development Lead

We are currently looking to hire an AVP, Development Lead within Technology’s  Enterprise Data and Information Services department. This position is responsible for defining and coordinating the processes that controls the flow of work within the data group. The incumbent will work with the various teams responsible for delivery to ochestrate demand and ensure that there is effective coordination and consensus on expectations and timelines with our partners. The AVP, Development Lead will interface with technology and it’s business partners ensuring processes are followed for the efficient delivery of projects, work orders and SLA requests.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processes related to work orchestration in the data team
  • Accountability for the delivery of work
  • Transparent reporting on the status of work, including KPIs related to the backlog, work completed and in porogress.

Core Competencies:

  • Ability to lead change and interact effectively with technology and business partners 
  • Strong ability to bridge communication gaps between technology and business partners
  • Abilityto multitask, prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Detail oriented and organized with the ability to be comfortable in ambiguous and challenging situations
  • 5yrs+ muti-stack software development and delivery experience required
  • 5yrs+ experience in financial services with broker dealer and/or advisory experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
