Compensation Analyst

The Compensation Analyst will be a trusted business partner providing consultative compensation advice to other HC partners and the Business. As a member of the team you will support the compensation function in the design, development, implementation and on-going analysis and management of company-wide compensation programs and initiatives.

What will you do?

  • Plan, administer, and implement broad-based compensation projects and programs
  • Administer the annual merit and bonus cycles from end-to-end including design, testing, communication, training and support of partners
  • Maintain the job and compensation structure including identifying outliers with the market
  • Administer the annual benchmark process to ensure LPL maintains competitive pay practices
  • Provide guidance to Human Capital partners and Business Leaders on competitive pay practices
  • Conduct annual survey submissions, including identifying necessary surveys
  • Model compensation data, develop reports and key metrics to support our pay for performance culture
  • Identify communication and training opportunities for employees and managers on LPL’s compensation philosophy and practices
  • Develop effective and clear communications regarding compensation programs and processes.

What skills, experiences, and education are required?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field and a minimum 4 years progressive work experience in HR Compensation is required.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex topics in an easy to understand way
  • Workday experience is a plus
  • Experience with MarketPay
