Job Overview:

The Digital Research Analyst is a key member of the Digital Analytics team and provides advanced reporting capabilities to support digital analytics initiatives. In this position you will partner with stakeholders from across the business, helping them ask the right questions, then working alongside our data engineers to implement and develop effective digital analytics reporting that will help meet the stakeholder’s requirements and measure the benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Digital Analytics Data Steward for the organization and be the subject matter expert on where and how to access and interpret Digital Analytics data, be able to explain complex analytics implementations, and will ensure the quality and availability of digital data.

  • Participate in the implementation of analytics and optimization technologies through solution design and code development.

  • Being the authority on what is currently possible with all tools available – “I know the art-of the-possible with the digital analytics tools we have.”

  • Knowing what digital data assets are available and working with stakeholders to understand its value and limitations – “I understand our digital data and help my colleagues get the most from it.”

  • Continually building upon capabilities that will add the most value – “I am informed with new features and techniques and focus on those which will help LPL reach its objectives faster.”

What are we looking for?

Requirements:

  • Degree in Analytics, IT or Applied Sciences (Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Information Systems – CIS, Math, Statistics, etc.)

  • Minimum of three (3) years in an analytical/statistics focused position, preferably a mix as digital analyst and business intelligence specialist

  • Experience with digital analytics software (e.g.: Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics), web development technology, content management systems, and reporting.

  • Expert proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and SQL.

  • Familiarity with BI reporting tools (e.g.: Tableau, Microstrategy, or Power BI). Preferably Tableau
