Field Real Estate Manager

We are currently looking to hire a Senior Field Real Estate Manager to lead end to end delivery of real estate and building services for all wealth management field office locations. 

This individual will be responsible for supporting the Employee Advisor business in providing new space solutions to align with new advisor onboarding as well as ensuring that building services are provided in a cost effective and efficient manner to support the needs of each office.

Essential Functions:

•Oversee brokerage and project management activities to deliver space “just in time” to meet the needs of new financial advisor teams joining LPL

•Develop and deliver process maps and playbooks and oversee a reliable and repeatable process for delivering new space on time and on budget whether the solution is a serviced office, turnkey space lease, or requires a renovation project

•Overseeing landlords and other vendors in delivery of building services and repairs to ensure satisfactory service delivery and minimize disruption to the business

•Deliver in process and pipeline dashboards and facilitate regular transaction and project review status meetings with key stakeholders

•Provide alternatives analysis, expense forecasts, and business case analytics as inputs to broader business profitability analyses

Effectively document and communicate financial and qualitative trade-offs, constraints, and options to support informed decision making

•Proactively communicate program objectives to vendors, employee advisors, and LPL leadership

Evaluate portfolio and process performance and proactively recommend and implement improvements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial real estate, preferably in support of a portfolio of small, geographically dispersed locations.

Experience with both serviced office memberships and traditional direct leases

Understanding of lease contracts, project management, and vendor management

Proficient in standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong organization skills, process orientation and passion for being detail-oriented

Additional Requirements:

Understanding of the financial services industry and the dynamics of the client facing wealth management business / financial advisory profession

Excellent process management and process improvement skills

Ability to effectively solve problems and identify, manage, and mitigate delivery risks

Comfortable working in fast-paced environment, and able to multi-task and prioritize project work

Strong communication skills and focus on keeping stakeholders informed

A highly respectful and personable approach to client and coworker interactions

Must be capable of working autonomously to deliver transaction and project outcomes and manage milestones, taking ownership and accountability for results
