Job Overview:
LPL is seeking an Investment Risk Management Analyst to join its Investment Research department. This entry-level role will support LPL Research’s comprehensive approach to measuring and monitoring the investment performance and risk characteristics of its discretionary multi-asset models.
LPL Financial Research is a team that provides market insights, asset allocation, and model portfolios to our independent advisors. Our mission is to be a trusted partner to our advisors who provide investors with choices to help meet their financial goals. In this endeavor, our sole motivation is to provide stellar investment management advice — as a partner for those advisors who manage client assets themselves or as a portfolio manager for those advisors who want to leverage our experience.
Responsibilities:
Use MSCI BarraOne (or similar portfolio risk software) to update and maintain model portfolio dashboards on a periodic basis
Ensure parameters of model portfolios are being met and escalating any discrepancies to senior members
Identify and analyzing key contributors to active risk and participate in discussions with member of the model portfolio team on alternative options to reduce risk
Contribute in process improvement efforts.

$64,000-$96,000/year
The salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.
