Job Overview:
The LPL Insurance Associates team within LPL’s National Sales & Consulting division is looking for an experienced people leader that will inspire the team to provide world-class customer service while they help our financial advisors navigate the life insurance pricing process. The LPL Insurance Associates Case Management team plays an important role in facilitating a smooth life insurance underwriting process for the financial advisor and the end-client.
What will you do?
- Direct the Case Management processes to ensure quality and efficient service is maintained on all insurance files being managed by the team
- Coach individuals to develop thorough case processing knowledge in order to facilitate a positive service experience for internal and external customers
- Establish and monitor individual and team goals
- Derive regular reporting of case management key metrics
- Manage a caseload of insurance applications and maximize the timely issuance of policies
- Serve as the advisors’ main point of contact when dealing with the resolution of case escalations
- Create and perform training as it pertains to technology systems process changes and implementation
- Collaborate with carriers and underwriters to leverage their knowledge and materials for LPLIA continued ongoing underwriting training

What skills, experiences, and education are required?
3+ years' people management experience within the insurance industry
BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, Economics (or a related discipline) is preferred
Proficiency with Agency Integrator and Paperclip
Effective communication, presentation, and writing skills
Ability to inspire others
Ability to collaborate with a team and take the initiative with strong attention to detail
Positive attitude, commitment to excellence and integrity
