Onboarding Specialist

The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for providing support to the talent acquisition process through pre-hire and post-hire activities. Driven by quality, the Onboarding Specialist is an expert at background verification, consistent follow-up and communication with new hires, task completion including but not limited to Form I-9’s and policy acknowledgements, and reviewing CRD’s.

  • Provide excellent service to candidates, client teams, and clients by responding quickly to all inquiries.
  • Proactively alerts client teams to any potential issues.
  • Support leadership team with implementations.
  • Attend weekly client team meetings to review areas for opportunity.
  • Attend weekly leadership meeting with forecasted volumes and ideas for workforce planning.
  • Enter and track standard, rush, high priority, and high level candidate orders.
  • Review submittals against job requisition and candidate application for compliance.
  • Complete welcome calls and email to all candidates.
  • Review and manage vendor systems daily to ensure progress and escalate accordingly.
  • Assist candidate with any questions or concerns throughout the process.
  • Assist vendor with completion of required check when necessary.
  • Monitor candidate onboarding tasks to ensure completion before or by due date.
  • Audit Onboarding Specialists’ work to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Other duties as assigned.
