The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for providing support to the talent acquisition process through pre-hire and post-hire activities. Driven by quality, the Onboarding Specialist is an expert at background verification, consistent follow-up and communication with new hires, task completion including but not limited to Form I-9’s and policy acknowledgements, and reviewing CRD’s.
- Complete welcome calls and email to all candidates.
- Provide excellent onboarding experience to candidates, client teams, and clients by responding quickly to all inquiries.
- Assist candidate with any questions or concerns throughout the process.
- Enter and track standard, rush, high priority, and high level candidate orders.
- Monitor candidate onboarding tasks to ensure completion before or by due date.
- Review and manage vendor systems daily to ensure progress and escalate accordingly.
- Proactively alerts client teams to any potential issues.

- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years’ experience in Human Resources field
- Experience with Workday
- Experience with Salesforce
- Extreme attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skill-set
- High level of empathy
- Tactically strong
- Prior experience in an Onboarding role or knowledge of Onboarding process
- Onboarding within the financial industry
