Onboarding Team Lead, Human Resources

Job Overview:

The On-Boarding Team Lead will take at LPL will use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. This person will be organized, and capable of multi-tasking, as well as being a strong leader, a good communicator, and a problem solver

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 5-8 Onboarding Specialist

  • Successfully onboard new hires including but not limited to VP+ and Employee Advisors

  • Monitor Onboarding team case volume and provide best practices as needed

  • Knowledge of Salesforce data to provide needed metrics regarding onboarding including time to close, communication, customer survey results and team capacity

  • Manage case load, prioritize and allocate cases within the team

  • Proactively coach, develop and manage the performance of the team

  • Highlight areas of improvement and suggest actions to maintain best practice

  • Suggest and implement process improvements that will contribute to more efficient working practices - be a Subject Matter Expert for all operational aspects HR onboarding process

  • Be a source of expert advice on Workday, case management, Salesforce case management system

  • Manage the transfer of transactional work from other HR functional areas

  • Provide reports on KPI's and SLA's as required

  • Recommend improvements to continuously improve the onboarding experience

  • Troubleshoot issues early to course-correct and set new hires and onboarding team up for long-term success

  • Serve as subject matter expert and first point of escalation/contact for any and all Onboarding related questions including but not limited to M&A activity and hiring events

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent

  • Proven experience leading a team of 5-8

  • Experience collaborating cross-departmentally to deliver comprehensive solutions

  • 3 plus years experience with Salesforce Lightning, Workday, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Communication - At ease speaking to large groups and preparing written communications to others to convey information effectively; outgoing and energetic personality

  • Attention to Detail - Thorough, organized, active and productive; able to manage multiple projects concurrently
