Sales Enablement Content Manager

Improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the salesforce by driving organizational alignment, generating high quality sales leads, increasing sales pipeline acceleration, and optimizing the buyer experience are the key goals of the function.
The Content Manager will serve as a key partner to the Business Development team, Marketing, other cross-functional partners, and third-party vendors. This position is responsible for developing and delivering best-in-class sales content such as sales training materials and sales tools. In addition, the position will manage projects including lead gen programs, marketing content development, and training programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills and have experience managing successful projects in fast-paced, matrix environments.
Essential Functions:
Review the existing sales content and identify the best way to organize and manage the content on a go forward basis.
Identify content gaps and work with Sales Enablement and Marketing to prioritize and develop the materials.
Collaborate with Sales Enablement leadership to identify sales tools and advisor-facing tools that will help optimize the digital buying journey, deliver an improved buyer experience, and accelerate the sales process.
Work in partnership with Marketing and IT to roll-out a Sales Asset Manager solution to make it easier and more efficient for the salesforce to access and use sales content and tools, and work with Marketing to identify an asset governance process to help with the deployment, retirement, measurement, and improvement of content.
Review existing sales onboarding programs for each sales role and create an efficient deployment plan including content development, delivery and measurement.
Help develop and deploy the consultative selling sales training and coaching courses including playbook development, tool design, training facilitation, and measurement.
Work with the Salesforce Manager to identify and deploy digital tools and develop training to help the salesforce adopt and utilize the tools.
Act as a central point of contact with Marketing, Compliance, and third-party vendors and build strong working relationships with each of them.
Continuously recognize process inefficiencies and actively work to put scalable and repeatable improvements in place.
Represent the voice of the prospective advisor/financial institution to inform content development and sales training materials.
Collaborate with internal partners to share ideas, best practices, and promote collective thinking.
Take new data and learning from completed projects and parlay those insights into actionable and meaningful improvements that increase the efficiency and efficacy of the Business Development team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of relevant experience
Experience working on a project team, supporting project work and meeting project timelines; 3+ year project management experience is desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate research findings into business insights and present them in a clear, meaningful and actionable way for senior management
Strong interpersonal skills -- Enthusiastic, positive, teachable attitude
Demonstrates critical thinking and analytical skills to maximize problem solving
Detail-oriented with an ability to understand big picture and identify relationships, dependencies and risks
Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and own workload in a fast-paced, changing environment
Possesses an ability to function well with ambiguity and limited direction
Experienced with Salesforce and MS Office suite including practical experience with PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Pro
