Senior Analyst - Business Operations & Reporting

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business management or consulting roles, and have the ability to develop actionable insights and recommendations that enable timely and effective operational and strategic decision-making.  This individual will be adept at analyzing massive amounts of data, identifying patterns, insights, and anomalies, and communicating those findings in a clear, concise manner.  Additionally, this individual will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting out on key KPIs, uncovering issues, and providing recommended solutions.  The successful candidate will be self-motivated, intellectually curious, a fast learner, comfortable with ambiguity and working independently, able to focus on details while thinking strategically, and be a results-driven thinker and an excellent problem solver.


  • Desire to work in a role that combines equal parts getting down into the weeds of data, and analyze current business performance

  • Build statistical models to extrapolate current and historical trends into forward-looking forecasts

  • Conduct analysis to “connect the dots” and identify innovative solutions to business challenges

  • Communicate results and recommendations in a clear, actionable, and engaging way

  • Deliver key insights with interpretation and recommendation, contributes to the development of hypotheses and actions, and presents them to the management team

  • Work with all levels of management with the appropriate level of detail to solve problems

  • Leverage data visualization to assist in telling the story for various areas of the business.

  • Create and manage reports & dashboards in reporting systems, including Tableau and other BI tools using complex query logic to merge multiple sets of segregated data

  • Identify and champion innovative technologies for improved analytics and reporting

  • Experience with the Microsoft program suite including advanced excel knowledge

  • Experience using T-SQL and ANSI-SQL Syntax, Python for automation and data analyses, Smart Sheets, Power BI, and Tableau

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent data gathering, analytical and problem-solving skills


  • Business Analysis: 5+ years

  • Data Analysis: 5+ years

  • Experience in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment

  • Driven individual, always seeking to improve and grow
