Job Description:Sr. Data Analyst – Data Warehouse
LPL’s Enterprise Data Warehousing team is working to build enhanced data and insights capabilities by transforming into Cloud applications. We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills to drive application migration to Cloud warehouse. The candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, managing product backlogs and assisting customers with meeting their technology needs. The position will perform data mining, mapping and query analysis to assist with warehouse development and maintenance. This position will also involve team coordination around design, development and release activities. The candidate should be capable of developing a vision for high quality products and have the drive to ensure that the vision and success criteria are met.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Data Warehouse team members in application migration to the Cloud and establish a technical vision.
Gather requirements from the Users and document the analysis using Use Cases, Scenarios and workflow analysis.
Compile the data analysis and lead design sessions with the Leads and Subject Matter Experts.
Perform query analysis, document data sources and mappings to support the warehouse and provide data support for the downstream applications.
Manage and ensure requirements are met through the entire SDLC process by participating in design discussions, UAT and deployments.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or a related study accompanied by 5+ years of experience in Information Technology as a Data Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Developer role in a Data Management organization.
5+ Strong knowledge of SQL or other query languages.
Experience working with business users capturing and analyzing requirements, creating user stories and maintaining Jira boards and aha!
Familiar with data modeling practices and standards across conceptual, logical, and physical levels.
Familiar with Data Definition Language (DDL) and Data Manipulation Language (DML) SQL commands.
Core Competencies:
Mentor and provide leadership to more junior members of the team.
Maintain relationships with interface partners and vendors to assess or communicate impacts specific to upstream or downstream data changes.
Highly organized with strong communication, problem-solving, documentation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to be proactive, possess flexible attitude, learn new skills, and manage ambiguity.
Experience maintaining metadata for complex data environments and ensuring data integrity.
Preferences:
Experience in Fin-Tech industry.
Experienced in both waterfall and agile project methodologies.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Someone who has worked with Data Warehouse team members in application migrations to the cloud
Pay Range:
