Job Overview:
The Advisory Platforms team within LPL’s Wealth Management Solutions group is responsible for running and evolving the firm’s wealth management platforms. The Senior Product Analyst, Advisory Programs role will focus on managing and evolving LPL’s rep as portfolio manager advisory programs. The position involves being the central point of contact for these programs: resolving issues; identifying opportunities to enhance the programs; and driving program initiatives forward. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to solve problems independently, multi-task, engage with advisors, and communicate with various teams across LPL.
Responsibilities:
Owns the day-to-day management of the rep as pm advisory programs and any issues that arise. Programs include: Strategic Asset Management (SAM) and Strategic Wealth Management (SWM)
Engage with key partners on a routine basis to drive the success of the programs. Examples include working with the investment product and research teams on product availability; the marketing team on collateral and messaging; sales teams on feedback and escalations from advisors; etc.
Participate in and lead approved projects that improve the competitiveness of these programs
Own the documentation of the program strategy and explore opportunities to evolve the strategy based on industry research and advisor & business partner feedback
The team’s goals are to enhance our advisors’ and investors’ experience while helping to improve our firm’s economic and risk profiles.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
3+ years of related experience in investment management, product management and advisory related roles with a broker dealer, RIA, investment or financial services firm
Core Competencies:
Familiarity with systems that are the underpinning of advisory programs: trading, billing, proposal generation & analytics, client reporting, advisor work stations, investor portals, etc.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present materials to the highest levels in the organization, and the ability to frame complex issues
Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to evaluate business opportunities within the context of a larger organization and its objectives
The ability to operate independently to advance projects and handle customer escalations
Entrepreneurial perspective, self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
Project management / multi-tasking skills across different projects
Results oriented and outcome based
The ability to operate in partnership with other teams within IIS and across the organization is also critical to the role.
