Job Overview:
The Investor Experience team at LPL Financial is seeking a Senior UX Research Analyst to join our UX team. This individual will work with product managers, product designers, and developers to bring innovative solutions to the hands of our advisors.
What will you do?
UX Research
- Drive user-centered designs; translate user and business needs and technical capabilities into dynamic and innovative products that provide the best possible user experience.
- Collaborate with other researchers through different stages of the product lifecycle; planning and running usability studies, field visits, analyzing research reports, interviewing customers, conducting heuristic evaluations, and performing low to high fidelity usability tests
- Execute research test plans, create workflows, user task analysis, personas, process maps, empathy maps, and journey maps
- Synthesize qualitative data and consolidate feedback from multiple sources
UX Operations
- Take ownership of advisor & investor recruitment for our research studies
- Identify tools, update technology, and document operational processes
Pilot & Community Management
- Help run pilots and manage advisor communities
- Advisor outreach and feedback aggregation to highlight insights for our pilots

What skills, experiences, and education are required?
- Bachelor's degree required; preferred majors: Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or any other with relevant experience
- Minimum of 4 years’ analysis experience and some prior UX research experience is required
- Strong time management, analytical, and critical thinking skills required
- Preferred - Prior experience using different user testing techniques such as remote testing, in lab testing, automated online testing, A/B Testing, card sorting, and guerrilla usability testing
