We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Sr. Consultant, Product Marketing, who is equally strategic as they are tactical, and has the ability to pivot according to specific business needs. The ideal candidate is a big thinker who can look across internal business units and product lines to develop a comprehensive, cross-promotional marketing strategy centered on the user experience. At the same time, this person will be responsible for executing on these strategies by applying their own functional skillset to reach the right audience, with the right message, at the right time and place. Unlike some marketing roles that mainly require you to be “tech-savvy,” the person in this role will need to be “channel-savvy.” This includes digital marketing channels like email, web, and social, but also places emphasis on in-person channels like conferences, sales campaigns, and training forums. The ideal candidate will be able to look across these touchpoints to present LPL’s products and services in a way that generates awareness among financial advisors and drives adoption for our most important solutions.
Study LPL’s diverse suite of investment and technology products, along with our outsourced service offerings
Translate technical details of these solutions into user benefits, while shaping product narratives and key messaging for various audiences, with emphasis on conferences
Support AVP, Product Marketing, with capturing business objectives, outlining key deliverables, determining project schedules, and defining measurable goals
Help execute product marketing strategies for multiple product lines, including our go-to-market approach, conference strategies, and ongoing promotional activities as our product solutions continue to evolve
Craft compelling messages to deliver content across marketing channels, including conferences, web, email, brochures, video, and more
Evaluate marketing campaigns and initiatives using relevant performance metrics as well as feedback from existing and prospective advisors
Follow and analyze market trends to properly position LPL’s products within the competitive landscape
What are we looking for?

- 5-7 years related experience in product marketing, ideally within the financial services industry
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or journalism
- Superior writing and editorial skills required: must be able to distill complex subject matter into compelling, audience-tailored communications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Proven self-starter with strong project management and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Experience with advisory, brokerage, or fintech products/platforms a plus
Experience with conferences and digital marketing platforms also a plus
