Sr Services Developer

We are currently looking to hire a Sr Services Developer within the Enterprise Data and Information Services department, which is a part of LPL’s Technology Product Development organization. This person will be  responsible to work collaboratively with a highly talented cross-functional team to create best-in-class solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate thrives in an agile environment and has a passion for developing high-quality, maintainable code for internal and external facing API solutions using n Microsoft's .Net or Java stack. This position will maintain and implement new functionality in applications written in .Net/Java that make use of SQL Server/Oracle including stored procedures . We are seeking someone who possesses the ability to continually evolve/improve productivity and environment and learn new development trends/practice 

Essential Functions:

  • Development
  • Unit Testing
  • Documenting the work
  • Working closely with both onsite and offshore teams
  • Requirement gathering and adhere to LPL development standards.

Other Job Duties:

•        Document the REST API specification

Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
  •  5-7 years’ experience in building services
  •  Strong domain knowledge – Financial and Investment products is a plus
