Responsibilities
SVP Prospect & Client Management Experience
LPL’s mission is to enable advisors to help their clients succeed in achieving their financial goals. A critical component of achieving that mission is to provide advisors with digital experiences and tools that enable them to manage relationships with prospect and clients.
The SVP of Prospect & Client Management Experience is responsible for developing and executing the strategy to evolve the experience associated with client relationship management solutions that advisors and institutions leverage to deliver engaging experiences for both potential clients and longstanding relationships. This role will also help advisors and their staff prepare for conversations with their clients by evolving LPL’s award winning Meeting Manager product. Additionally, they will lead the effort to compliantly and efficiently enable advisors to schedule meetings with clients and communicate via messaging solutions. The SVP will partner with our internal design & research organization to understand advisor and investor needs, and deliver experiences that meet or exceed those needs. They will collaborate with LPL Technology to deliver a robust roadmap that rapidly evolves LPL’s prospect & client management experiences across the board. Many of the solutions involve partnering and negotiating with 3rd party technology solution providers, and determining the right mix between buy and build in the complete offering. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, this leader will interact with advisors and their teams to identify opportunities to improve their experience of working with LPL to serve their end-clients.
To be successful in this role, the SVP will exude a passion for modern product management, with a focus on agile development and iterative delivery of solutions. Requires the ability to get into the details with the team to solve problems and deliver solutions, as well as have the ability to roll up the efforts of the team in a cohesive communication to the most senior levels in the company and to clients. Driving the roadmap as well as communicating its progress to a variety of audiences is critical. The outputs of the roadmap drive the business outcomes, and this leader will understand how to work with analytic partners to measure the success of the team’s efforts.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Drives the creation and delivery of the prospect & client management experience product portfolio, with a focus on a superior client experience delivered through agile development
- Works with a diverse group of cross-functional teams to ensure creative and continuous improvements – with the goal of exciting our advisors and their clients, leading the market, and attracting additional business
- Drive insights and practical recommendations using feedback from advisors, internal stakeholders and key partners across the enterprise
- Deliver internal and external executive level updates, improvement recommendations and enable the development of new growth opportunities
Qualifications:
• Passion for driving the Advisor and Investor experience and ability to persuade others to share this vision, collaborate and execute
• 10-15 years of experience in product management related roles, preferably within a broker-dealer, RIA, investment or financial services firm
• 10+ years of developing, cultivating and leading strong, high-performing teams in an agile environment
• Flexibility and organizational change management experience
• The ability to work in a cross-functional team and drive outcomes, in some cases without having direct authority
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to present materials to the highest levels in the organization and serve as one of the recognized subject matter experts on the team
• Demonstrate business acumen and the ability to interact with senior leaders, including developing, presenting and gaining approval on any business cases and funding requests needed to further drive the execution of the roadmap
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to evaluate business opportunities and evaluate results against established objectives
• Actively anticipates, identifies and manages risks within position scope and at the company
• Expert consensus builder who drives change across initiatives within and outside direct accountability and evaluates solutions to the most complex business challenges
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Holder of series 7 & 24, or willingness to obtain once in role
Pay Range:
$183,080-$274,620/yearThe salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.Why LPL?
