At LPL Financial, we are currently searching for a Senior Vice President (SVP) to create, build, and ultimately execute a new service offering focused on leading a sales/specialist team.
The SVP, Specialists’ team will build distribution strategy and lead SME teams creating an environment that is focused on adding value to financial advisors and their clients. As part of LPL Financial, the industry-leading firm in the independent broker-dealer space, this SVP role allows you to make significant contributions to the firm and its clients.
You will lead and design strategy across 3 teams who are responsible for solving sophisticated needs of our advisors. Today, these teams are focused on technology consulting, technology adoption, and coaching strategies for our advisors. As SVP, you define strategy to build out 2-3 additional SME teams per year. You will propel your teams to meet their specific goals and are responsible for achieving the stated outcomes for the overall team.
What will you do?
Strategize, build, pilot and execute on the launch of our Sales/Specialist teams
Create challenging sales goals for your teams and create the initiatives and sales plays that will ensure they are achieved
Work with EVP, Growth Solutions to identify new specialty areas to expand into
Take specialty teams from ideation to execution in partnership with the Growth Solutions Innovation team
Find correlations between activity and outcomes to build meaningful performance metrics for your team and hold them accountable
Build a sales pipeline and understand insights to direct seller behaviors, including prospecting, funnel management, and closing
Leverage data to understand the “why” and “how” of your team’s performance
Establish a data driven process to piloting initiatives while looking for new revenue opportunities
Be responsible for the day-to-day management, administration, and support of your direct employees (T&E budget, activity, etc.)
Partner with other LPL business units and sponsor firms to bring value-added education resources to advisors
