Job Overview:

LPL’s Enterprise Data Reporting team is working to build improved data visualization and insights capabilities to help drive business insights. We are looking for a technical leader to drive the implementation and adoption of reporting platforms. Note that this is a very hands-on role, with heavy work in platform and visualization support on Tableau Server, Alteryx Server, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Installing/upgrading and configuring Tableau Server at an enterprise level.

• Contribute to the design, architecture, documentation, development, deployment, and support of Data Visualization tools. 

• Full life cycle experience (requirements gathering through production deployment) in all aspects of software development using BI Tools like Tableau & Alteryx.

• Translate business needs into technical and system design specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related study accompanied by 8+ years of experience in Information Technology with at least 5+ years in Visualization Reporting tools 

• Experience in at minimum 2 Lifecycle Tableau Server Implementations/Upgrades and utilizing Tabcmd/TSM for development/configuration changes

• 6+ years of writing SQL on databases like MSSQL or Oracle

• 1+ years of experience with Data Warehousing/Data Mart

• 1+ years of experience with Snowflake Cloud

• Strong organizational and planning skills and process orientation.

• Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment while effectively managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously as well as producing high-quality end-to-end solutions for complex data problems.

• Commitment to excellence in service, performance, and execution.

Preferences:

• Knowledge of Alteryx implementation experience

• OBIEE experience is a plus

• CI/CD, GitHub, and Octopus or equivalent experience is a plus

Pay Range:

$104,360-$156,540/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
