The VP, Client Communities Operations will be an experienced strategic business leader with proven success who can develop and implement client communities across our business. The ideal person will bring direct experience in developing and leading client communities, and proven know-how in leveraging client communities to add value.
As a trusted business partner, you will work with internal business groups to create and execute an operational plan to design client communities, integrate a technology platform, and facilitate client interactions and measure outcomes using performance metrics.
You will manage a high-performing team at LPL that works with internal stakeholders and leverages market intelligence to increase client engagement through launching peer-to-peer networks for idea exchange
craft innovative client communities’ strategy, while clearly defining action plans, leading change initiatives and ensuring adherence to relevant policies, processes and procedures.
You will work collaboratively with internal teams who are responsible for the customer experience, technology, sales & marketing etc.
Critical to the role is the ability to self-start, apply critical thinking, manage complex relationships and drive change.

College degree preferred.
Generally 8-12 years industry or relevant experience.
Extensive knowledge of designing, building and implementing client communities with a proven track record of measuring outcomes.
Typically has deep knowledge of client engagement strategies including digital platforms.
Understands the trade-offs and nuances of client communities including how to quantify value and balance risk.
Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.
Extensive influencing and presentation skills.
Experience working with client prospecting teams and participating in the recruitment process
Senior level communication skills, written and oral
Proficient in standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Travel up to 25%
An outstanding ability to communicate effectively and confidently (both verbally and written); ability to apply quantitative and strategic approaches and work well in cross-functional teams
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills (both written and verbal); ability to interact with colleagues at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over resources
Strong judgement and ability to appropriately handle sensitive and sometimes confidential information. Deliver thoughtfully and expeditiously, while always remaining calm
Self-motivated & a commitment to acquiring new knowledge and skills; seek to continuously improve standards of work, address opportunities for development
Strong understanding of the financial services industry and dynamics of the financial advisor profession
