Maintaining a culture of belonging is critical to the LPL Financial framework. Employee Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDEIB) plays a major role in how we succeed together as an organization. The VP of Employee Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging will be responsible for the cascade of programs, initiatives and services to our lines of business, as well as, cultivating internal networks to champion our culture of belonging through the work of diversity, equity and inclusion. This position is mission critical to connecting the dots between departmental and enterprise efforts.
Collaborate with business leaders to identify and apply best practices for diversity, equity and inclusion
Benchmark efforts against other companies and organizations considered to be leaders in DEIB and recommending areas for improvement, training workforce to emphasize culturally competent working relationships, and provide leadership to diversity initiatives
Ensure that the strategic direction of the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) is being followed:
Alignment of work to company goals
Measurement and reporting of impact
Sustainability of the program
Perform management oversight of our internal Leadership Inclusion Council that helps set the agenda for DEIB work and champions the work in their areas of influence by leading by example and removing obstacles
Serve as the subject matter expert providing insights and recommendations to drive outcomes and measurable results
Act as a change agent, identifying adoption barriers and mitigating risks, while providing empathetic thought leadership
Monitor external trends and leverage data to develop solutions that drive inclusive behavior and cross-cultural competence
Ensure communications regarding DEIB efforts are on-brand and the message aligns to the overall goal
Collaborate with DEIB Action Groups, within the firm, to ensure alignment and reinforcement of firm-wide programs
Communicate sensitively, concisely, and eloquently the firm’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging
Build awareness and educate employees on the necessity and benefits of a diverse and inclusive work environment
What are we looking for?

5+ years of relevant work experience and/or 3+ years of DEIB experience as a leader/key contributor
Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong emphasis on presentation skills
Ability to lead and inspire through influence
Ability to execute on strategic and programmatic deliverables with internal business partners and stakeholders
Strong experience with analytics and data insights
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented, and dynamic environment
Familiarization with employment regulations and human resources standards of practice
