Job Overview:
This role will provide technical leadership while partnering with Business and Product teams for implementing a master data platform encompassing strategy, governance, stewardship, data quality, policy development, tool rollouts, and effective application of data to drive consistency and efficiency both within our organization as well as with key business partners.
Responsibilities:
Drive a strategic Master Data vision, strategy, operating model, governance & roadmap across various domains.
Work closely w/ business, and other Data team leads to deliver both strategic & tactical business processes supporting strong Data Management Solutions, enabling a less complex & trusted data environment which drives internal efficiencies and simplifies interactions with key partners, internal and external
Drive harmonization of relevant Master Data processes to provide a common view of the business while also offering flexibility to meet functional needs.
Champion data accuracy culture adoption to the broader organization by ensuring that Master Data Management assets are understood, available and used.
Lead targeted communication, change management, and training associated with Master Data Management to ensure adoption.
Establish and communicate Master Data management best practices including people, processes, and technology.
Develop targeted metrics showing impacts of data activities, with executive dashboard to show key benefits and outcomes associated with data activities.
Continued focus on master data operational excellence, including advanced technologies, to optimize data value chain.
Experience leading multiple development teams across various value streams providing nurturing leadership and talent development efforts for successful project delivery, application, and platform support.
Lead requirement analysis and design discussions with users, technical and business stakeholders and monitor all agile ceremonies with teams

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience in data management with at least 5+ years of strong experience in MDM with tools such as S& P Markit, Informatica MDM, or Reltio etc.
5+ year’s managerial experience.
Experience working with SQL Server, Oracle or Snowflake databases/data warehouse
Strong leadership and communication skills
Core Competencies:
Capable of effectively planning, prioritizing and executing tasks utilizing resources and tools
Advanced business knowledge, general management, change management and leadership experience
Proven experience leading the development and authorization of mid-to long term strategies for a global matrixed organization
Proven experience bringing together groups to implement new business solutions to drive improvements. Competency
Proven experience implementing business outcome metrics that drives the appropriate data to govern. Competency
Is visible, vocal, and objective. Exemplary collaboration, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Preferences:
API Design Experience
Experience with data warehouse, data lakes or lake house.
Strong financial services domain expertise and practical experience working across multiple functions within an organization.
Proven expertise in setting up a corporate wide Master Data Management (or similarly complex) strategy that implemented technology enabled discipline, ensured uniformity, accuracy, stewardship, consistency, and accountability.
Influence across functions and businesses to negotiate and gain cooperation of initiatives.

Pay Range:
