Job Overview:
The VP, Talent Development will be a strategic partner focused on LPL’s promise to deliver on industry leading development for career growth while fostering a culture of belonging and increasing representation for women and people of color. The focus of work will be done by creating strategy, program management, measurement and execution, content development and processes that enable employees to deliver against business and leadership goals and bring their best self to LPL Financial.
This position will work in partnership with Employee Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and will consult and collaborate with operating and functional business leaders and will work with internal talent partners This role will report to the SVP Leadership Development and Performance Management and through a combination of strategic, operational and tactical leadership will work to ensure alignment and integration with all talent management initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Identify and assess talent development strategies in order to equip top talent to move further along in their careers and thrive in their new positions at LPL (sponsorship, external development opportunities, post-promotion support, etc.)
Develop program that will provide top talent with opportunities for exposure to other areas and leaders of the company in order to build business savvy and consideration for various career paths
Support and partner to create framework for mitigating bias in talent assessment and performance management processes
Oversee professional development for Employee Resource Program (ERG)
Develop and report on objectives and key results (OKRs) for Leadership Development
Create and manage leadership development programs that vary in scale to equip top talent (mid to VP leaders)
Analyze the impact of programs and make changes as needed while providing executive level reporting
Consult and facilitate for business leaders as part of team or business development (strategy, team performance, behavioral assessments, 360’s)

Requirements:
10+ years progressive experience in talent development and leadership development
BA/BS or equivalent in relevant business experience
Behavioral Assessment Certification or licenses (DISC, MBTI, Strengths, PI, or similar)

Pay Range:
$105,800-$158,700/year
The salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.
