LPL’s Paraplanning Services team is seeking candidates passionate about this space who are also interested in the idea of forwarding the industry shift toward financial planning. The ideal candidate will be passionate about being an integral part of keeping the Paraplanning Services team running as smoothly as possible. This is a 100% remote role and you can be located anywhere in the United States. Paraplanning Services is a part of the LPL Services Group (LSG), a growing professional services company within LPL Financial that helps advisors and institutions execute their biggest opportunities. Job Overview:
LPL’s Financial Planning Services team is looking for a highly motivated and qualified AVP, Paraplanning Services to supervise and train a team of financial planners, and help develop new operational processes to completely disrupt how financial planning is being done today.
Responsibilities:
- Establish repeatable and best in class training framework to manage rapid scale of team
- Manage operational activities including team capacity, licensing, and communication with sales
- Establish ways to improve planning deliverables to advisors and clients
- Support product development of new technology support software to capture end client’s goals and data
- Research ad-hoc financial planning questions as necessary to further support our Advisors and their clients
- Motivate and inspire +20 person team to maximize their potential while creating an environment that is fun
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field with broad exposure to financial planning
- 5 - 7 years of experience managing a financial services team
- Must have CFP® designation
- Solid understanding of complex financial planning including tax and estate planning strategies and understanding of insurance and annuity products
- Ability to effectively communicate, excellent organizational skills, and strong attention to detail are a must
- Experience leading and mentoring a team
- A passion for Fintech, financial services and/or extending financial guidance to as many people as possible
- Software & Systems Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Financial Planning software, with prior experience with eMoney, MoneyGuide or RightCapital required
- Experience with CRM applications such as Salesforce and/or Redtail preferred

Pay Range:
$101,520-$152,280/year
The salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.
