BlazePortfolio is seeking a Solutions Consultant to support the growth of our business and to lead the consultative aspects of the sales process. This role works collaboratively with senior leaders, the Customer Success and delivery teams, and our partners to understand sales and business priorities to align their activity with the needs of their business.
Become a BlazePortfolio expert who can communicate the business value of the product to potential customers and partners.
Gather information about client workflows to design customer solutions and conduct web demonstrations to highlight the product
Develop partner relationships and qualify leads and opportunities
Support, lead and manage transactions as a solutions consultant by using product and industry knowledge to move deals forward.
Collaborate with the professional services, product and development teams to design and build new product features
Help to develop the sales funnel by collaborating with marketing and other industry partners to develop collateral, referral leads, references, and testimonials

3+ years’ experience in Financial Technology
2+ Years – Selling, Implementing, or Consulting with Financial Technology
Experience in a presales or technical consulting role ideally with Saas / Cloud based solutions.
Experience as a key technical resource leading the introduction of new technologies into the market.
An entrepreneurial mindset that enables you to successfully work independently with little guidance, but also to use good judgment and escalate issues when needed.
Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; capable of gaining the respect of and interacting comfortably with senior leaders and executives.
Consultative selling style: ability to uncover pain areas in prospect’s current operations and articulate how our solutions can solve them
You consider yourself a team player, able to thrive on finding solutions in a dynamic work environment, and understand that success comes through teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Technologically savvy and able to learn the Blaze Portfolio platform.
Additional Computer skills: CRM, Outlook, Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel and PowerPoint)
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology or engineering or equivalent work experience
Ideal Candidate would have experience in one or more of these areas:
Investment management or investment advisor software
Trading or portfolio management software
Complex technology solutions or products
