Job Overview:

The Regional Wealth Consultant helps advisors take care of their clients by serving as the "driver" of Growth Solutions to LPL’s largest independent offices and their affiliated advisors. The RWC works in direct partnership with various Relationship Managers to facilitate, educate, coach, and train advisors and staff in the largest independent offices on the benefits of LPL’s investment products and platforms. The RWC will focus on helping our largest independent offices and their advisors acquire new clients, deepen the wallet share of existing accounts, and aid in the retention of their existing client base through the application of a comprehensive wealth management approach.


  • Partner directly with various LPL Relationship Managers (RM) on aiding in setting up and executing a strategic business plan with respect to all aspects of driving growth at the largest independent offices.
  • As a Wealth Consultant, you will spend 60% of your time in the field interacting with clients, traveling within the home based territory as well travel nationwide for minimum of 3-4 days every week.
  • Meet with 16 – 20 clients each week
  • Increase sales across a broad-based territory comprised of LPL advisors associated with our largest independent offices.
  • Meet all sales goals and firm objectives for the assigned territory
  • Leverage sponsor partners in the field to bring value-add education to advisors in the form of small group workshops on topics ranging from practice management, business development, and investment-related themes.
  • Represent the outlook and themes of LPL Research in the field.
  • Partner with Business Development teams to assist in recruiting.
  • Participate in Home Office Visits, both at one of our home offices and those exported to the field.
  • Participate as a representative of Growth Solutions to LPL advisors and at LPL Conferences.

  • Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's Degree (focus in Finance, Economics, Marketing or other business-related field desired)
  • Minimum Experience Required: 7 - 10 years (focus in: Financial Services,
  • Wholesaling, Financial Advisor, Recruiting)
  • Licenses/Certifications Required/Preferred: FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 or 66 required.
  • MBA/CFP/CFA/CIMA preferred.
  • Location: NJ or PA
