At LPL Financial we are looking for a dynamic ContactRecruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. The Contract Recruiter will focus on full-cycle recruiting efforts by partnering with hiring managers and HR Consultants to attract and select top talent.

We are looking for a self-starter who loves the thrill of hiring top talent in a fast-paced environment. Someone who is customer centric and goes above and beyond to ensure the candidate has the best experience possible.

You will partner directly with hiring managers and company leadership to understand their unique hiring needs and then execute the strategy to identify and attract top talent. You’ll really have two sets of clients, candidates and hiring managers. You’ll need to ensure great lines of communication with both to be successful. 

What you'll do

  • Drive the full cycle recruiting process by sourcing and screening talent across various business units, guiding candidates through the interview process, extending offers and helping to think of creative and strategic ways to close candidates.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and proactively translate that into a positive candidate and interviewer experience.

  • Build a diverse pipeline of candidates using creative sourcing channels including employee referrals, networking, internal databases, and innovative research tactics for nice areas and "hard to fill roles".

  • Ensure that candidate tracking is up to date and compliant in our ATS (Workday) while maintaining data integrity and report recruiting metrics as needed.

  • Identify and build process improvements that will help the recruitment team scale its efforts for years to come.

  • Create and execute multi-channel sourcing strategy to source candidates meeting client profile and/or building talent pool for current and future requirements

  • Client Relationship Management - Conduct interactions with clients in a timely, professional and responsive manner

  • Use competency interviewing to identify and differentiate candidate in presentation and short-list process

  • Candidate Relationship Management

  • Effectively communicate position opportunity and client value proposition

What we ask for

  • 3+ years of full cycle corporate recruiting experience ideally in a high volume environment.

  • Experience working with business teams and recruiting for various corporate and administrative roles, including but not limited to technical recruiting.

  • A strong drive to source, attract, and secure talent of varying experience levels and backgrounds, with a focus on building a diverse pipeline.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. In fact, at times you’ll feel a bit like a Copywriter as you’ll be upscaling job descriptions and writing engaging messages to candidates.

  • Strong knowledge and experience with an industry ATS (we use Workday)

  • Proven track record of hitting hiring goals and forming positive relationships with hiring managers.

  • Experience coaching hiring managers and helping them develop strategic recruiting plans.

  • Experience assessing ambiguous problem spaces and building programs or solutions to address business objectives.

During this pandemic, most LPL Financial employees are working remotely. Once it’s safe to do so, we’ll slowly return to our offices however we are in no rush to do this. The safety of our employees is of utmost importance. This person will work remotely full-time, and once it’s safe to do so you can work out of our LPL corporate office.
