LPL’s Creative team is looking for a senior content writer and producer. We need a creative mind with a broad creative skill set within the digital space. We’re a team of storytellers focused on creating engaging experiences for our audiences.
Reporting to the VP, Content Strategy, this senior consultant will lead and produce visual and multimedia design projects to help drive forward our vision of delivering an exceptional advisor-experience. You’ll be part creative director and part producer, with a focus on writing. You will collaborate with team members, vendor partners, and internal stakeholders to discuss ideas and help deliver on projects. There will be a primary focus on developing compelling thought leadership, as well as engaging experiences for our conference events.
The ideal candidate will bring a story to life through a variety of media, stay on top of digital trends to help the team keep innovating, see a concept through production, and have strong project management skills to help keep content creation on track. We also need someone on the team with editorial instincts who understands how to thread together a story and create engagement across digital channels.
Deliver brand-aligned, engaging content through a variety of communication channels for internal and external campaigns. This includes conference events, thought leadership, video scripts, and more.
Serve as creative director on projects from concept through creation, including storyboarding, scripting, coordinating talent, working with designers and videographers, editing, and coordinating with stakeholders in the approval process
Drive and facilitate ideas sessions to define objectives and shape creative approach
Solve problems conceptually in collaboration with the broader team, including UX designers, and developers
Write and/or edit scripts for videos, podcasts, blogs, websites etc.

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Writing, Communications, or related field preferred
7+ years professional experience in interactive, video or other multimedia design and production
Strong writing skills and the experience creating thought leadership, scripts, presentations, or other marketing-type campaigns
Critical eye for design with strong typography, layout and user experience skills
Knowledge of video production and other tools to deliver interactive content and how they weave together will be critical for this role.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize workload in a rapidly evolving environment balance multiple projects at once
Project management experience to ensure delivery of creative assets in all forms in a timely manner
Ability to communicate effectively
