Job Overview:
This position is responsible for ensuring that information flows properly into and out of the payroll system as needed so that employees are paid correctly and on time. his role functions as a gatekeeper and guide between payroll and all of the other departments in the organization. It is the payroll analyst that collaborates with the HR Systems team, Finance, Legal, other HR departments as needed to make sure that all information is flowing smoothly and fixes issues if applicable.
The Payroll Systems Analyst reports directly to the Payroll Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Maintaining systems interfaces
Report generation
Support in analyzing payroll data
Payroll process improvement
Metrics management
Serve as payroll contact for internal departments and external vendors
Regular payroll audits
Apply system enhancements and updates as necessary to comply with regulatory requirements
Train team members on new system features and ensure adoption

Requirements
Minimum 3 years as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Specialist
Advanced competency in ADPR payroll reporting tool
Core Competencies:
Deep knowledge of state and federal payroll and tax regulations
Hands-on experience with ADP Enterprise payroll software
Advanced competency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong proficiency in math and analysis
Ability to work under tight deadlines and demonstrate critical thinking and detail orientation
Skill in providing thorough, efficient, and effective customer service to individuals at all levels within the organization
Must have the flexibility and project management skills to handle multiple projects and problems simultaneously
Strong ability to connect with people and develop interpersonal skills

$28.90-$43.36/hour
The salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.
