AVP, Enablement (Strategic Accounts)

The AVP of Enablement (Strategic Accounts) will be part of our high-performing Enterprise Partners Innovation and Development team that is driving the evolution of LPL’s approach to managing and growing our largest and most complex advisor segment.

On this new team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining the client reporting, systems and enablement structure that is needed to make the team successful.  You’ll be putting your critical thinking and entrepreneurial mindset to work in helping us figure out what is needed in the way of data, systems and reporting.  You will be focused on CRM optimization, maintaining business insights and client profile reporting, as well as figuring out the enablement systems needed to help the team thrive. 

We are looking for a motivated individual to help us execute on this vision through team enablement and analytics.

What will you do as the AVP of Enablement for Enterprise Strategic Accounts?

  • Work directly with key stakeholders and internal partners to build and maintain client specific profiles, broader segment insight reporting and working on the next big enablement idea for what is going to improve how we build and grow the segment.
  • Maintain internal business profiles for each of our large enterprise network advisor firms, manually pulling the necessary quantitative and qualitative data (while working towards automation).
  • Actively monitor and analyze emerging trends, developments and players across the industry landscape, helping to inform the company’s view of opportunities and approach to innovation with this segment.
  • Engage with your team to determine the best course for how we leverage data and analytics in the management and optimization of the segment. Pulling together requirements and making sure that our tools are enabling the team to build deeper relationships.
  • You’ll play a critical role in making sure the team if fully optimizing our CRM, including requirements development and direct work with our product team.
  • Innovate, innovate, innovate… think of new ways that will improve the way that we support and partner with our clients.  You’ll be thinking about data, analytics, dashboards, processes, systems and other tools that will help the team be successful.  You will both build and maintain.

What are we looking for?

We want a high energy, outside of the box thinker with a strong understanding of the independent wealth management industry, including exposure to the unique needs and challenges of the large enterprise network advisors segment.

  • We are looking for people with strong organizational, critical thinking and analytical skills who see the power in creating processes and systems that will allow our team to grow, scale and dominate the segment. 
  • We need someone who is comfortable manually pulling data (qualitative / quantitative) and maintaining business profiles for large complex firms.
  • You are a systems guru with a forward thinking, strategic mindset.

What skills and experiences are advantageous?

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working within the independent wealth management industry. Ideally have familiarity with the existing larger enterprise network advisor segment and solutions
  • Minimum 3 years of experience building and optimizing CRM systems (ideally salesforce) and other enablement tools.
  • Minimum 3 years of experiencing building and maintaining a portfolio of client business profiles (experience manually compiling qualitative and quantitative data).
  • An entrepreneurial drive and a do-what-it-takes attitude, grounded in tangible results.
  • Superior analytical skills with an ability to identify relevant data and ability to evaluate business opportunities within the context of a larger organization.
  • Strong communications skills, with the confidence to effectively present complex topics to senior internal leadership in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Experience working on a project team and meeting project timelines while managing competing priorities.
  • Interest and demonstrated ability to build financial models, including ability to partner with finance on segment specific needs.
  • Skilled at synthesizing data into actionable reporting, including development and delivery of executive level dashboards.
  • Experience with MS Office suite, with a particular proficiency with PowerPoint required. Advanced excel skills highly preferred.
