Job overview:

The Enterprise Sales team within the LPL Business Development division attracts financial institutions, including banks, investment product manufacturers, and boutique broker/dealers to the firm. The Assistant Vice President will play an integral part in leading the Strategy function within Enterprise Sales. The Strategy group is focused on: helping the business development professionals understand the marketplace, customize their approach for each opportunity, engage with prospects in a professional and consultative manner, and build constructive relationships with internal partners.


  • Provide sales leaders within LPL with strategic insights and recommendations to enhance engagement and accelerate deal pull-through
  • Provide business leaders at prospect firms with strategic insights and recommendations to make key decisions related to their wealth management and broker/dealer businesses
  • Customize engagement strategies for a prioritized set of opportunities
  • Develop exceptional executive-level content to drive engagements
  • Design and test new approaches to attract new business to the firm
  • Partner with the LPL leadership team on the continued evolution of our offering and capabilities to establish ourselves as the leading Enterprise solution in the wealth management market
  • Be an ambassador for LPL and help strengthen relationships with external business partners

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or Liberal Arts
  • Minimum 2 years of Corporate Strategy or Strategy Consulting experience
  • Experience identifying critical issues and developing strategic initiatives to address them
  • Superior communication skills, with an ability to adapt to different audiences and to influence decisions
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with an ability to leverage data and to deliver actionable insights
  • Positive attitude and desire to be part of entrepreneurial team


  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree
  • Sales enablement and/or financial services experience
  • Understanding of financial intermediation space (e.g., banking, insurance)
