As an Omni Channel Product Manager, you will focus on the competencies that are business and technology facing. You will guide a team that is charged with a product line contribution as a business unit. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new Products for the company. You will define Product needs from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with your customers and prospective customers. You are the internal and external evangelist of your product that helps multiple lines of business achieve business outcomes that aligns to their overall strategy.
You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with an engineering counterpart to define product release requirements, prioritizing the backlog, and setting the priority of each of the features and stories into releases. You will work with the scrum master to ensure that all accepted stories into a sprint can/will be delivered. You are solely accountable for ensuring that business outcomes are achieved and adoption targets are met. You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer.
A Product manager's key role is strategic, while ensuring the tactical needs don’t disrupt the overall Product vision/roadmap you have developed. You will be involved in cross channel/product collaboration ensuring that joint roadmaps are developed and supporting each other’s goals and objectives.
Job Specific Technical Skills & Competencies:
- 2+ years of Agile Experience
- 2+ years of Cloud experience
- 5+ years of Contact Center Experience
- 1+ years as a Product manager
- Solid understanding of contact center telephony carriers, solutions, contact center designs and personalized IVR/ASR experience.
- Advanced knowledge of business operations and processes
- Superior skill and ability in multi-tasking and appropriate prioritization
- A proven track record of delivering in Agile software development methodologies
