Business Analyst (Forms)

LPL Financial is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with above average technical abilities, as well as superb customer service skills, to manage its client facing RIA eSignature Program. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining custom forms and their User Interface questions in various systems, in addition to managing the relationship and competing business needs for over 300 client offices.   The role requires excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively communicate with internal business partners, as well as external clients, at all levels. The ability to effectively set timeline and form requirement expectations, as well as handle escalated customer service situations with skill and ease, is critical. This role will report to the Vice President of Service, Trading, and Operations’ Information Management department.

Essential Functions:

The Analyst's role is to manage the forms life cycle process for the RIA eSignature program, as well as become a SME and trainer for team members.

Manage program enrollments, incoming forms requests, and the program’s overall pipeline and publishing release calendar Discuss form business requirements and corresponding technology capabilities with external clients Problem solve and suggest alternatives when creative solutions are required.  Make independent decisions after considering options on low to medium impact issues. Think about the “big picture” to recognize, act, and plan for all the moving parts of the program, including anticipating the consequences of shifting priorities and form deadlines Maintain the program’s policy and procedures and design formatting guidelines Perform quality control on teammates' work Act as the forms business liaison with our internal Technology partners. Discuss creative technology solutions and/or system enhancements with Programmers Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), write business test scripts, and troubleshoot issues/defects where appropriate Actively participate and/or lead program and/or business process meetings Maintain data and create management reports/dashboards to track key program information (i.e. volume of requests, system adoption, enhancement requests, etc.). Leverage the data to make informed suggestions for process evolution Build strong relationships and act as a point of contact on behalf of the Information Management team Work with limited supervision and provide support/guidance to other team members


Bachelor’s degree 3-5 years of relevant working experience in forms design, business analysis, project management, or customer service Advanced knowledge of Adobe LiveCycle or comparable forms design software is preferred. Familiarity with eSignature solutions, such as DocuSign, is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications Strong technical mindset with proven ability of learning new systems and engaging with programmers and technology focused personnel Excellent communication (written/verbal) and strong presentation skills, with the ability to defuse difficult customer service interactions Strong analytical skills with the ability to dive deep to determine root cause of an issue and the willingness to challenge the norm and think outside the box Commitment to quality and attention to detail is required with a comfort in repetitive tasks Goal-oriented, self-directed individual who can work independently and in a team setting Project/time management skills with the ability to effectively organize and prioritize to meet deadlines and balance multiple high-priority assignments simultaneously Enthusiastic, positive, teachable attitude. Must be adaptable and have the ability to react nimbly to continued changes in goals
