Job Overview:
Provide technical and analytical support for the day-to-day operations within IT Asset Management including software and hardware life-cycle management. Follow best practice to facilitate proper chain of custody documentation related to IT acquisitions, IT inventory, audit, reconciliation, asset transfer, repository management, decommission and disposal of IT Assets.
Responsibilities:
Provide proper asset and financial stewardship through the lifecycle of an IT asset to mitigate risk and optimize spend for the firm.
Perform the technical and analytical support for the day-to-day operations of the software and hardware life-cycle to ensure compliance to the IT Asset Management best practices; including but not limited to:
Receiving and updating system records when technology assets are purchased and received on site
Local inventory and stock room audits and updating systems when assets are returned to inventory
Assistance with preparing assets for redeployment and disposal
Supporting ITAD process and reporting (disposal/decommissioning of assets)
Facilitating, monitoring and reporting on assets return for end of employment/engagement resources
Monitor the IT Asset Management queue on a daily basis. Resolve all tickets or incident reports within SLA. Update ticket notes with clear and accurate information to ensure that the life cycle of the ticket accurately captured. Effectively communicate with end users to provide excellent customer service when closing tickets
Create, update, and maintain data analytics reports for internal communication
Monitor and record hardware assets, warranties and maintenance agreements in accordance with industry best practices and internal procedures
Any other ITAM support activity required or prioritized by management

Requirements:
Two years of Tech Support experience or relevant experience.
Knowledge of hardware asset lifecycle and general IT Asset Management principles
Experience with Enterprise Platform tools for tracking/managing assets and tickets
Core Competencies:
Clear and concise written and verbal skills
Ability to manage conflicting priorities, strong time management skills
Positive attitude and excellent customer service
Must be able to lift, pull or push 50lbs as a regular part of the job
Preferences:
Certifications such as ITIL, IAITAM CHAMP, ITAD or SAM
ServiceNow experience
An Associate’s Degree, Certificate, or Boot Camp in Computer Science or related field
General desktop support experience
Knowledge of PowerBI, Performance Analytics or similar reporting tools
Working knowledge of various Windows and Apple OS and hardware for PC environments, principles and terminology of networking and mobile technologies
Pay Range:
