Job Overview:

Our Manager in Performance & Data Recon is responsible for leading a team of front-line consultants and analysts who support LPL’s advisor-facing reporting tool, Client Reporting.  The manager will provide direction to staff in accordance to FINRA regulations and LPL policies on all aspects of the organization including customer service, data analysis and vendor management.  The manager will strengthen their team through thought leadership, goal-setting, regular feedback and coaching on performance, and ensuring alignment of employee skills and continuous employee development.  The Manager will also ensure optimal team efficiency through continuous monitoring and alignment of OCM’s and OKR’s.   In addition, the Manager will lead overlapping projects related to Client Reporting and must manage competing priorities and effectively assign resources while maintaining SLA’s.  The Manager must possess excellent leadership and communication skills and should be comfortable leading an agile, high-performing, diverse team.


  • Manage daily operations of nationwide team of consultants and analysts
  • Review quality control checklists and sign off for completeness and accuracy
  • Reduce operational risk through partnership with risk management and internal audit
  • Ensure OCM and OKR’s are accurate to support growth and SLA’s
  • Facilitate employee development through 1:1 coaching sessions
  • Employee reviews and regular feedback loops
  • Front-line call queue management
  • SLA management through CRM
  • Business liaison between Operations and Technology and/or vendors
  • Reporting that will be used to make strategic management decision

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Science
  • 4+ years in the industry and 2+ years proven track record in a leadership role
  • FINRA Series 99 or Series 7 required
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a cohesive, efficient team
  • Demonstrated ability to coach/mentor staff
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven leadership ability with customer and employee experience at the forefront
  • Knowledgeable in a wide range of investments, including but not limited to; mutual funds, fixed income products, options, common stocks and annuities
