LPL Financial is seeking a strong applicant to join our Capital Management department on our Credit Risk and Loan Servicing team. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will help our executive management team make informed decisions related to advisor lending as well as drive and maintain efficient day to day operations. The ideal candidate for this role has a combination of strong business acumen, technical knowledge to develop and deliver tools enabling informed decision making to drive continuous strategic growth.
The Capital Management group plays an instrumental role in the analysis and reporting of LPL’s financial information and collaborating with the other business units providing overall financial and capital deployment support. The Credit Risk and Loan Servicing Team is responsible for setting credit risk guidelines, implementing business systems, processes and controls to ensure the company is protected against credit and counterparty risks, as well as ensuring loan customers are supported through strategic systems, processes and personnel from initial loan documentation to final loan payoff.
·Creating reporting and analysis to drive business decisions on capital deployment opportunities
·Analyze credit risk exposures and implement processes and procedures to minimize adverse impacts
·Leverage technology to automate manual work and simplify processes where feasible to create a highly scalable, flexible, and efficient infrastructure
·Working with VP and SVP to maintain efficient processes
·Producing metrics to illustrate business unit’s accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness
·Maintain and enhance internal controls, supporting Internal Audit and Compliance quarterly/annual controls testing
·Ad-hoc analysis and additional responsibilities as required

·BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, or Economics (or a related discipline) is required.
·3 - 7 years corporate finance, commercial or consumer lending, investment banking, or corporate development experience preferred
·MS Excel and PowerPoint advanced skills
·In depth knowledge of financial reporting processes
·Experience preparing financial analyses
·Effective communication, presentation and writing skills
·Experience with enterprise systems, tableau dashboards and reporting tools is a plus.
·Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce is a plus
·Detail oriented with insight to determine applicability of big picture analysis
·Ability to work within a team, take the initiative and show strong attention to detail is critical
·Proactive problem solver, expected to present problems and recommendations simultaneously
