Job Overview:

The LPL Finance department’s Integration Office  is currently seeking to hire a Sr. Business Analyst.  This team member will be responsible for supporting M&A and large deal integration activities related to the firm’s growth strategy, as well as identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.

This qualified professional will have a strong analytics and business initiative support background, as well as a working knowledge of the Financial Services and Customer Experience spaces.  Strong collaboration and presentation skills are a plus as you’ll work closely with other functions in the company to drive positive change. Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to independently drive work and continuous improvement is vital. 

Responsibilities:

·Partner with Integration Office team members and other firm wide stakeholders to drive deal execution by developing work breakdown structures informed by analysis of diligence data and derived insights

·Design and support implementation of deal appropriate governance, issue and risk management activities. Leverage to drive firm-wide collaboration and alignment to improve overall M&A execution

·Develop and maintain a process to identify, document, implement and measure effectiveness of deal related lessons learned.  Build a multi-year roadmap to drive continuous improvements.

·Establish and maintain change control activities related to the Integrations Office’s baseline execution library and data repository (diligence material, execution policies and procedures, templates and accelerators, best practices)

·Deliver high quality, high impact communications and analysis to LPL executives to inform decision making, strategy and execution across the firm.

·Manage one off projects and conduct/support meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings. Analyze business processes, procedures and organization structure to identify problems and determine solutions.

·Stay apprised of latest modern work and execution techniques and IT advancements that inform our ability to automate and modernize how we conduct our work

·Provide data analytics and data oversight as required in support of team needs.

Requirements:

·Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA or other equivalent work experience

·3-5 years of business analysis/equivalent experience supporting firm level business units an initiatives

Core Competencies:

·Business process analysis, project management, data management and visualization experience

·Exceptional skills in fact base development, ability to synthesize and translate data into strategic story-telling

·Comfortable with application of modern methods (Agile, SAFe, Lean Six Sigma) capabilities, and reporting

·Demonstrates creativity, leadership and communication skills

·Ability to work independently and contribute to team deliverables

·Good collaboration and interpersonal skills, self-motivated, willingness to take on challenges and adapt to change

·Passion for driving action and improvement resulting in exceptional experiences and outcomes for Advisors, end-investors and employees

·Strong mathematical/statistics/applied analytics background

Preferences:

·Previous M&A experience within the Financial Services a plus

·Data analytics certifications (CAP, Certification of Professional Achievement in Data Sciences, etc.)

·Project management certifications

·Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certifications
